Our program would be nothing without the help and committment of our volunteers. Volunteers are expected to follow the Volunteer Code of Conduct shown below:

• Fulfill the responsibility of your assignment
• Set an expample for the athlete
• Demonstrate good sportsmanship
• Be continually vigilant and cognizant of the safety of the athlete
• Be loyal to your committment and to Special Olympics
• Take advantage of the opportunities Special Olympics offers you

The requirements to be a volunteer are as follows:

• Complete the appropriate registration form (see the Forms link above) prior to participating in the program
• Be at least 18 years of age to be a coach or assistant coach

Volunteers shall receive written information describing general responsibilities and policies relative to individual personal behavior. Regular volunteers will also recieve additional orientation and training as needed for their volunteer role (i.e. coaches receive coaches training, trainers receive trainers training).
