Alyson started with Special Olympics Texas with the Mansfield ISD Special Olympics Texas program in 1996. She loves sports and enjoys the ability to compete in those sports in Special Olympics. It allows her to compete, meet new freinds and feel good about what she loves to do. She was the Area 11 Female Athlete of the Year in 2007 and was a torch runner for Area Games in 2008.

When she is not competing she loves to work at a local grooming kennel, is a member of the Mansfield Methodist Women's Auxillary and has her own annimal sitting business. She loves sports, animals and horseback riding.
